Over a decade with Six Senses Resorts & Spa as a core member and started up operations in Vietnam for Six Senses Resorts, developed, build and open 3 internationally recognized and award winning luxury resorts, opened and conceptualized the first Evason Hideaway brand for Six Senses Resorts and made it the fastest growing brand for the group. Grew business for the group from 45 M USD in 2005 to 190 M USD in 2008/2009, and managed 24 sales and pr offices worldwide with 5 regional structures.
Development and protection of the company’s 4 brands: Soneva , Evason Hideaways , Evason & Six Senses Spas. Establish clear differentiation between the brands in terms of positioning,and perception and the value proposition for both clients and owners. Communicate to and involve owners in the brand value propositions and expectations
Provide and assist on corporate guideline complianceResponsible for the entire sales actions, sales team performance and in establishing and implementing company sales strategies for all Six Senses Resorts & Spas. Accountable for the group revenues, with a specific focus on room revenue with all other major and minor departments, including sales as a secondary focusManaging All Regional and Group Overseas Sales offices and all regional & area director of sales and marketing including the organization and structure of these offices
Responsible for establishing and the implementation sales & marketing plans with detail action plans, establishing room night targets, lead generation and to ensure all business relationships are maintained.Ensuring proper Establishment, Management and Control of all Channels of Business to Six Senses Resorts & Spa Group. Establish & Develop business channels outside Wholesale or Contracted business with a particular focus on Active Web Engines.
Ensure Group’s own effective GDS platform and vehicle.Develop the Groups reporting formats for effective business intelligence, responsible for ensuring proper structure, developing and establishing all systems and formats in place for smooth day to day sales work flow actions.
Establish all initial pre-opening critical path plans and driving the various teams. (see attached list )To assist development team in all feasibility studies and review projections for all new developmentsEstablish any new markets which will be beneficial to the group’s business; present and future
Establish, develop, and manage relationships of all high-end operators, agents or any other business channels which will support Six Senses resorts and spas.Responsible for developing the key teams to manage sales actions, product development and training, strategies, re-active contracting and support, reservations, revenue management and distribution.
Managing all affiliations or any Third Party websites related to promoting any of SS resortsResponsible for driving all Budgets, Rate Policy Making, Whole-sale contracting, Inventory Management and revenue management policiesEstablish and Implement Collaborative Marketing Actions for all Six Senses Resorts
Developing and driving all Key Accounts Management initiatives, system and processes. Responsible for establishing and managing all strategic and group partnerships. Driving all launch plans for all new resorts. Develop pre-opening Policies and Procedures for the company’s new properties. Prepare and enhance financial reports which allow instant and accurate financial assessments.
Prepare feasability studies and financial forecasts for new potential sites
Provide property quality and service audits
Ensure property renovations meet corporate operational guidelines
Review General Mangers Monthly reports and performance of the resortsProvide guidance and direction to the Resort General Managers and Owners on issues affecting the GOP. (Focus on P&L costs and revenues)
Implement International best practices and new concepts , new initiatives Assist Resorts by providing Human Resource solutions
Very disciplined, extremely structured and organized.
Speak fluent German & English, working knowledge of French & Bahasa Malaysia, Cantonese, Thai & Vietnamese
Good Knowledge of Source of Business markets to Luxury Resorts in UK, USA, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, Russia, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan with very good relationships with major buyers of room inventory from these markets
Experience & well verse in conducting feasibility studies for 5-star and small luxury resort development in countries such as Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Caribbean, Thailand, Tibet, Spain, Portugal, Africa, India, China and the GCC countries
